This working group is made up of academic from public health, international relations, public policy, and development economics who focus on better understanding and addressing the gendered effects of COVID-19 and government responses to the outbreak. The project is funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) to study the gendered effects of COVID-19, which includes the impacts of gender-based violence services and survivors.
